"The service was superb, from the receptionist to the servers at the buffet. The buffet was ok, not a lot of varieties like other hotel I stayed. The bathroom was clean however the room was running down, the towels were roughly due to old towel. Since I have VIP, we didn’t get offered to upgrade. We booked a room just to rest between flying into Hanoi and taking a night train to Sapa but I would definitely find it comfortable to stay a night or two. We were warmly greated on arrival by Lily (reception staff) she promptly sorted our paperwork out and we headed up to our room. "We stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel mid to end of october and enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Jimmi and Jennie demonstrated top notch hospitality. They helped us arrange everything we asked for. My friend and I took a 2 day unforgettable tour at Ha Long Bay which Jimmi arranged. After we came back from the tour, our room was upgraded to a bigger one with balcony. If you are looking for a hotel with 5 star service, this is the place. Highly recommended."

"The services was super nice from the receptionist to servers, bellboy, masseuses, everyone was so nice. The buffet has a lot of options and it was very good. The only issue was the bathroom was so high and it was scary to get in. However Brian the manager mentioned that other room has additional showered beside the bathroom and they have plans to remodel. Brian was so nice to offer us a free transportation from hotel to airport due to our inconvenience of bathroom."
