"It was fantastic for us to have a large space (2 bed apartment) in the middle of our Vietnam trip. The hotel felt a little outdated though and the main bathroom flooded into the hallway and the poor hotel staff was on her hands and knees with me trying to mop up! It felt like the drain in the bathroom was uphill rather than down.... Location was fine for walking but tours would not pick us up due to not being in the old quarter, travellers beware! Local shops meant we could easily access food...

I have stayed all over the area and many hotels including the jade oriental, the apricot and the metropole, I stayed in Presidential Suite both of my stays here to be closer to a family friend who needed parking. I like the hotel lobby (note - there is a piano with no piano player any of the nights) and wonderful staff. Overall good but the room needs work. Already the couch is damaged and the toilet leaks. Please note this hotel is not soundproof and you can hear your neighbors....
