"Bedsheets were not changed. Don't auto refill the stuff in the fridge. No Bathmats. Once service taken, you will be charged. Even though that service is a normal part of any hotels process. Food restaurants doesn't have marks to differentiate between vegetarian/ Non vegetarian. Looks like they are just they're for pulling out the money out of customer's pocket. "

"Just an overnight stay. Arrived hotel around 7pm. check-in was smooth. The location about 1 km away from the main street and in the same building as a Karaoke bar. Unfortunately, my room is closed to the karaoke room and can hear the singing and music until midnight... luckily. Breakfast is average. A bowl of pho is all I took. Overall ok stay considering the price. "

"We had a very very good stay here for 1 night following a busy few days seeing the sights of northern Vietnam. The Moc dining dinner was one of the best meals we had in Hanoi area. "An amazing hotel that is centrally located in District 1, near the lake. On Weekends, they close the main ring road around d the lake and it’s an excellent place to walk, site see and ch I’ll out even though it can get very busy. Close to excellent shopping (esp shoes much to my husband’s dismay). The staff are extremely helpful and service is outstanding. The room is beautiful and clean and well appointed (just a not for the hotel - you need some more bench space). The property exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was plentiful and for the price it was an overall excellent stay. "

Luxury and comfort in a chaotic city

"We are very happy with our selection of the Peridot hotel. Hanoi is a bustling chaotic city and it was always nice to escape the pollution and noise when entering the hotel. The concierge service was great, the breakfast was amazing and the room was comfortable. I also recommend the rooftop pool and bar. If it wasn't so smoggy during our stay, we would have spent more time up there!"

"I was a salesman for 35 years and stayed in many hotels. I rate this hotel as one of best I have stayed in. The staff were amazing. I had a disagreement with a cab driver and Mike solved it quickly and scolded the driver for try to take advantage of me. I was so grateful. Emma, helped me with directions to the museum and was so kind. I can’t say enough good about the San Grande Hotel."
