"Amazing hotel with stunning views of Lake Ashi. All-inclusive resort style, with Breakfast and dinner buffet included. Onsen with indoor and open air pools, all necessary toiletries provided, toothbrush/toothpaste, razors, q tips, combs, amazing skin care products! The Hakone Ropeway is just a 3-5 minute walk. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!"

"Unbelievable night here. Views of lake Ashi and Mount Fuji the best you can get. Even from our personal onsen or balcony footpath. The kids loved watching a movie on the big projector while the parents enjoyed the view. Fridge full of free gifts of food, wine and beer plus soft drinks also. Nice touch. We absolutely loved it here. Caught the bus from odawara station which took about 55mins and the bus stop is just outside the accommodation (Hakone Shiso Mae). On way back 2 bus stops either side of building, "

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Hakone Stage. The Villa itself is quite spacious (we had a family of three staying) - a welcome change from the cramped living conditions in Tokyo. The villa was clean and very comfortable. The location is right next to both the "pirate" ship port and the ropeway to the top of Owakudani. We arrived via the Romance Car and Hakone Tozan Train from Shinjuku and then caught the Cable Car and Ropeway to the villa (it is a short walk from the Ropeway station). The host was also very quick to answer any questions we had."

Fuji, hot spring boiled black eggs and souvenir shops, or go further into nearby town Gora where there are many shops and museums. It is also located near Hakone-en, where there is snow sledding and an aquarium for family fun. There is also another ropeway heading up the mountain to a shrine and panoramic view.
