"The room was a very nice size for Japan. It is easiest to arrive by taxi, but only about 10-15 minutes walk from a couple bus stops. It was about 15-20 minutes walk to good restaurants and shops. It was a nice play to stay. "

"Property is showing its age a bit but was obviously a luxury hotel at one point. Everything is very clean and the staff are excellent. We took advantage of the available breakfast every day and it was very good. Here again the staff were great and even offered to package breakfast for my son who could not get to the restaurant on morning. Location is great if you have a car (we did). "

"Love that parking is available for free. Minutes to drive to Gotemba Premium Outlet. Lots of Kodak Moments with Mt Fuji views just outside the hotel. Only set back is the white fluorescent light in the room. Could do with some softer, warmer lighting. "

The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. "This is a special place with excellent service. The private onsen was wonderful! The room/cabin was so comfortable, clean, spacious, well stocked, excellent products, safe, and private. "Hotel is great, only 2 problems. First, the shuttle bus schedule is broken, only 6 rides each day. It would be better by each appointment pointing or taxi ride discounts. Second, lag of massage staffs also makes the appointment broken because hotel have more empty bed than customer usage. "
