This room has a gorgeous view of Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji. The view beats any other view of Mount Fuji including fuse from Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako. Simply stunning and one of the most gorgeous view of any hotel I've ever stayed in. I will definitely go back someday.

The view was amazing. Onsen was amazing. Wake up to view of Mt Fuji almost every other day, when it is not cloudy. 7eleven and Lawson is just a walk away. Bus stop is right next door. Only downside is the cleaning service was not provided on daily basis. Maybe we need to call them but we didnt bother to. Perfect stay, view and location.

A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were fortunate to see Mt Fuji for two days of our stay. The onsen in the room was amazing, we used it twice a day or more, so relaxing. It could fit two people, and we loved how the doors opened up to look at the view. We were on level 2 and if you can I would suggest trying to get a room level 3 or higher as we did have some maple trees which partially obstructed our view. It was still lovely but you would have a clear view of the lake and beyond from the floors above. It was easy walking across the road to 7-11, or to the couple of restaurants in the area. The complimentary drinks and snacks was a lovely touch. We appreciated the in-room washing machine, and the big projector tv was great. A very relaxing place to stay in the middle of our Japan trip.

This place was the highlight of our trip to Japan. We had 4 adults and 4 children with us. It was amazing! Very close to the bus stop and 7/11 was 24hrs. Would definitely come back in the future. Received email 24hra hours before with the code to get into the building and room. We had no issues.

If you want to relax and have a bit of peace and quiet from the busy crowds of the city then Moto Hakone is the area. The accomodation was to our liking qe enjoyed the private onsen as well as the foot bath outside. Beautiful view of Lake Ashi and 12-15 min walk to the Torii gate of Peace. Easy check in and was easy to find. Would defs recommend for others!

Absolutely loved the location right on Lake Ashi. However, no luggage storage which was a huge bummer as bus station had limited storage. We had a lot of difficulty using the washer/dryer without instructions in English. Overall, a great property.

We were beyond impressed with our stay! The lake view was beautiful and looked exactly as advertised. The unit was very clean, modern, and spacious. We really appreciated and enjoyed the complimentary beverages (including alcohols), snacks, and even dessert cake! The only small hiccup was during the check-in process where after filling out all the information, we needed to be connected to a virtual agent for live verification. There was no agent available for about 5 minutes - we kept trying and was able to eventually connect with an agent, but it was a little panicky during those 5 minutes.

The property is in the very best location at Motohakone. Direct view of Mount Fuji the otherside of Lake Ashi. The checking in process was a lot better than some of teh reviews here. We got into the property easily and checked in with a tablet My only gripe is the inability store luggage at the property. the lockers at the bus station is close enough at 700Yen for a large locker

This room has it all! Great views, very clean, and the location is perfect. I really liked the extras such as the large screen projector for movies, onsen, snacks and drinks stocked in refrigerator, and all utensils. This was such a beautiful hotel. We stayed at some very nice ones during our trip to Japan and this was the most amazing of them all with gorgeous views of Mt Fuji and Lake Ashi. It’s hard to beat sitting in your private onsen with water from a natural hot spring while gazing at Mt Fuji. The room is equipped with every amenity making for a comfortable stay, including very comfy pjs. The fridge is stocked with some drinks and alcohol, at no cost. The large screen projector was great, even if we couldn’t access many channels/movies. Check-in takes a few minutes but it’s done through a tablet in your room. We got an auto-generated email a day prior to check in requesting passport info for each guest, which you’ll want to complete prior to arrival to make check in easier. The room number and access code to the room will then be sent to you. Once in your room, you will self check in using the tablet by the large screen. The check in involves taking pics of each guest and a call to a live person through the tablet who verifies the info. Check out is a breeze and is through the tablet as well. The Hakone Tozan Bus goes by the hotel, which is covered by the Hakone Free Pass.The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Hakonemachi-ko, one of the ports for the pirate ship and where you can get a meal. If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to unwind, relax, have some respite and recharge, this hotel is the place to be. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
