"I booked 3 days to stay in this property. We decided on the first day that it is not for us and refunded the last day. Cons: To start, the walk to the property is the furthest walk on the entire street practically only up hill walking. It is quite annoying to get anywhere if you want to leave the property. "Great private onsen, close to hakone cruise ferry. Arrived early before check in time, owner did not respond quick enough for the door lock. Luckily met the owner when arrived at the destination to put in the luggage."

"It is hard to locate and when you try to call the number given, it ditects you to the webpage. It is stressful when you are not able to contact anyone from the property and there are restrictions that if you get late, there wiill be extra charges. Nor recommended for someone who wants to relax during the stay. "

"Large space in Hakone and very reasonably priced. Good for large groups of fit, young people. Recommended parking is up a very steep hill and stairs to second floor are a little narrow and steep. The house was otherwise clean and comfortable."

"We had a very brief stay and it was clean, comfortable and as described on the website. Very happy. About 8-10 min walk from train station, beautiful walk over the footbridge. Only issue is lack of restaurants after 19:00 and we never received our code to check in to the room-luckily staff was onsite to quickly assist!"

"Very nice place for vacation, clean and spacious. It’s raining so we couldn’t enjoy in balcony. Also very nice bath tub! Very good maintenance, things like new."

"This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!"

"施設がとても綺麗で快適でした。何人か虫が苦手なのでどんな虫がいるのかと不安でしたが蚊だけでよかったです。台風が近づいている中行ったので、到着時に大雨でしたが玄関ロックを開けてくださり、駐車場も案内していただいて親切でした。部屋のあちこちに騒音の注意が貼ってあり、どの程度なら平気かわからないので、いつクレームが来るかとドキドキしながら過ごしました。それ以外はとっても良かったです。"

"The property exceeded my expectations. The only complaint I have is that some of the entries in their complementary guidebook led to some wasted time due to inaccuracies. I would definitely go to this accomodation again but I hope by then they have updated their book. Also there's the apparent fact that no public onsen seem to be in the area, so you should probably plan for going to hakone yamoto (hope I spelled that right) to get access to those. There actually is a small public one near this...

"Hygiene of this property was horrible! The property was full of insects and dirt. Bugs and spiders were everywhere - on dining table, on floor, on wall and even on the bed - literally a bug house! We were scared by a giant spider on the bed. It is beyond a normal hygiene problem but constitutes a safety concern for residents. Nevertheless, most terrifying and disappointing thing is the attitude and response of the property manager. We tried to contact the owner and asked for cleaning the dead...

"Hotel is nice and location is good too. The fireplace was the highlight of the stay. Sipa glass of red wine hearing the firewood burn. However the room was not well maintain and there are insects."

"A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were fortunate to see Mt Fuji for two days of our stay. The onsen in the room was amazing, we used it twice a day or more, so relaxing. It could fit two people, and we loved how the doors opened up to look at the view. We were on level 2 and if you can I would suggest trying to get a room level 3 or higher as we did have some maple trees which partially obstructed our view. It was still lovely but you would have a clear view of the lake and beyond from the floors above. It was easy walking across the road to 7-11, or to the couple of restaurants in the area. The complimentary drinks and snacks was a lovely touch. We appreciated the in-room washing machine, and the big projector tv was great. A very relaxing place to stay in the middle of our Japan trip."
