"Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, room service was excellent, and there were plenty of great food options and fine dining restaurants. The entertainment was well thought out—not just for kids, but for adults too. The beach was beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds and a large sandy area that our kids loved. There were lots of activities available throughout the day and into the evening. However, we did experience two downsides. First, the pool temperature became too warm by the end of the day, making it less refreshing. At times, the pool was also not as clean as expected. Second, the ocean conditions were disappointing—there was an overwhelming amount of seaweed, the water was not the clear turquoise we had hoped for, and there was a very unpleasant smell. While the staff did their best to clean the beach, it would have been helpful to be informed about the ocean conditions in advance, especially since swimming in the ocean was one of the main reasons we chose this destination. In light of that, it might be fair to adjust the price accordingly."

"Let’s starts with Sebastian, best bartender around. Carried a conversation with us for two days straight about Playa. Served up awesome cocktails and by far the best asset to this resort. Find him to be your bartender. Rooms were very nice beds comfy. If you have the standard room, you want to be in room 410-422 for a surprise! Wish Off the Hook was open to try but next time! Food was fantastic for what we had time for.. Mexican restaurant was decent but make sure you get to the Italian restaurant, Wow was our food amazing there! Pool was nice, but the food hideout is at the beach bar! Check it out! "

"I liked the fact that their dinner buffet changed everyday. So every day was a different theme so the food was not the same every day. I did not liked the fact that we could not go into the beach in any of the days we stayed. From what I understand this was due to erosion..so we had to travel north to islas mujeres to be able to go into the water. Kind of sucked but we made the most of it. "
