"I don't really do reviews but if I do it. You know you made it. JM Marvel Hotel & Spa you live up to your name Marvel. I chanced upon JM Marvel Hotel & Spa when doing my planning for my family (3pax) Christmas short break and to celebrate the siblings Birthdays (2 days apart). We only asked for being central and convenient to save transport cost and unnecessary walking. You know what? The hotels gives you more than what we budgeted for. On arrival Jayce and his team, welcomed us with a mini-tea ceremony and we were treated as celebrities. Our family enjoyed the fruit tea and local sweet treats. We were given a hotel tour so we are familiar with our surroundings and the amenities we can enjoy for what we paid. The rooms were yes smaller than what we are used to for a family room. But this is where the intimacy comes in. Small is Luxury. We got to be much closer. Asking for direction is a breeze. No head scratching because Jayce and his team speaks excellent English. Ask them to draw you a map if you are still unsure. In my trips, I go as close to the local communities as possible. So, Jayce and his team gave me genuine recommendation and advise. This is a feedback not a complain. 2 things that needs management re-looking are:- 1. Sound Proofing - You can hear what the neighbours conversation are. This especially true if they speak loudly and slam doors. 2. Next Room Design - Family Rooms MUST have windows to look outside for Sunshine. Will come back."

"I spent six night at Aira Boutique, four before a Halong Bay cruise and two after. The first four nights were in one of the larger rooms, with a balcony at tree level above the main street. The last nights were in a regular sized room with a tiny balcony without much of a view. Both rooms were great. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they set up my Halong Bay tour at a time when lots of things were booked. I felt welcome and "seen." AC and Wifi worked great. Great shower too. Comfortable, clean and attractive rooms. I had breakfast a couple mornings in the fancy restaurant with nice views. I wish I had used the pool more. It's outdoors but covered. It was refreshing. The hotel is pretty well located -- very well located for the Train Street and a couple of other things. Overall, a great, great stay with excellent communication from the hotel and help whenever needed with transport, etc. "
