"I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Mexicana. The location is amazing. I don't know if we hit the low season, but it was extremely quiet except for one night on the room next door (a guest shouting on FaceTime at midnight)... There are innumerous dining options, shopping, it is a very walkable area and the view is great. If you want to know the real Cozumel though, obviously rent a scooter or Jeep and go explore. "We had an amazing time in Mexico City and at this hotel. It was very central and walking distance to many places. The staff was friendly and every accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and Robert our waiter was great! We did have one incident with the cleaning staff moving out personal items around, which lead to leaving my husband's beats behind, and when asked if they could ship to our home, the charge was $165, so I opted out and just bought new ones, so just make sure you don't leave...

"There was no heat in our room. When I went down to ask at front desk, they informed me no heating in rooms on the third floor. The reception was kind enough to personally hand deliver two blankets to my room. "

"Hotel was clean, large. Nice pool and hot tub, 2restaurants. Food good, nothing outstanding. Our room was above the pool-patio so loud until 10 pm. Then nice and quiet. Would probably stay again. "

"Family trip with our three thirty year old sons. All enjoyed the variety of food, drink and entertainment. We were comfortable heading out on foot to explore. Helped us with reaching our day trips. I definitely recommend it."

"The concierge Frank was really good. He spoke good English which really helped us out. He suggested excellent restaurants and arranged transportation to them as well. Both meals were fantastic. He also arranged for hotel shuttle to take us to bus depot upon our departure. The hotel was really well located in the historic area. Definitely walkable to all tge highlights. A wonderful stay and will stay there again when we are in Guadalajara. "

"Overall the property provided good value. The staff were pleasant and very helpful and management was engaging. The beach was very excellent. Also there were enough places to stay out of the sun both around the pools and on the beach. The only drawback that I could comment on would be the slow service when it came to drinks. There were few roving waiters to take your order and if you went to the pool bar to order your own drinks the wait was usually 4-8 people deep depending on the time. Not a major drawback for us but something to consider."

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

"Honestly we had a really great time on this trip. We were at the resort for a wedding, brought our two young children with us. Check in was super speedy, because we booked with expedia we had our own separate check in/check out area. We got discounts to the spa and different activities/upgrades. The resort was great, easy to get around, fun for kids, young teens and adults. They always had something going on at the pools to get people having fun! The evening shows were great, they always seemed to have a kid show earlier and then a adult/family friendly show after the kid show. The A La Cartes were great, this was the first time I was in Mexico and actually enjoyed the steak at the steakhouse restaurant. I felt like there was something for everyone at this resort, they had a lot to offer, but it didnt require walking a mile to get to it. The kids loved the lazy rivers and the ice cream store. Sports bar food was amazing, they always had food, you never went hungry. Definitely a great spot! Shoutout to our swim up bartender Patti, she kept the drinks flowing and everyone laughing!"
