"This is a delightful hotel and so NOT typical "London". The room was beautifully clean, the breakfast was very good, and the staff very welcoming. The only very minor criticism, the front desk is only manned by one member of staff. We had a couple in front of us who took a long time to be checked in ( and the desk is by an auto door that keeps opening - the staff must be freezing!), and on checking out the desk was unmanned for a few minutes. That said the lady who served us was excellent. ...

"The staff are the shining stars - they were efficient, helpful & just plan nice. I was in the older part of the hotel, but it had been updated. There was no elevator in that section , so if stairs are a problem best let them know in advance. The hotel is a nice walk to town centre..but it is a good 15minute walk. All in all a pleasant hotel"
