"The room itself was a little run down and could use a little maintenance, as there were cracks in the wall, broken window lock and shower door was stiff, but it was a pleasant stay overall, with decent facilities and a comfortable bed. "

My husband struggles with stairs so we were given a room on the ground floor. Staff very attentive and accommodating in the main. Clean and lovely new breakfast room. "This is a delightful hotel and so NOT typical "London". The room was beautifully clean, the breakfast was very good, and the staff very welcoming. The only very minor criticism, the front desk is only manned by one member of staff. We had a couple in front of us who took a long time to be checked in ( and the desk is by an auto door that keeps opening - the staff must be freezing!), and on checking out the desk was unmanned for a few minutes. That said the lady who served us was excellent. ...

"Ligjts in room were poor. Only 1 working bulb out of 4. Constant flasing by another. No milk cartons, but tea & coffee was in room. Smelt of stale smoke. No parking provided although website said it was. So had to pay for on street parking."
