I was greeted with a smile and the staff took the extra time to walk from behind the counter and actually show me around. This type of friendliness and human interaction is dying in the world we live in today so I don't give compliments like this often. "Winter stay; room was fine and a non-working lamp was promptly attended to. Turtle lamp a big hit. Desk staff very helpful and friendly; my dropped housekey was turned in and held for me. Breakfast was adequate but not great. "

"Hotel appeared to be in safe area for the river walk. We had a couple of issues after checking in but wasn't a big deal. When we checked into our room the smoke alarm was beeping indicating a low battery. I got a battery from front desk and changed. Then while settling in we noticed that heat wasn't working, setting was on heat and fan blowing but no warm air. Informed front desk and was able to change rooms.
