"Our stay was great, it was a beautiful and quiet place. The Onsen itself was perfect. I think the only downside was the food was just ok. We were expecting more food options in the area, but when we realized there wasn’t anything close by, we ate at the hotel, and the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. "This was my first time staying at a ryokan and it was a great experience! The onsen was nice and the futons were very comfortable. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that my friends and I seemed to be the only foreigners staying at the time, so we got a lot of curious looks. But the employee who checked us in spoke English, so I'm sure they do get foreign guests rather frequently. Overall, it was a relaxing stay."

"Staffs are wonderful, and Very fluent in English. They go above and beyond to help customers. I am not particularly good at tech. The staffs helped me downloaded, selected right plan for our Hakone free pass. They also make sure we know the time of our bus. Both the indoor, and outdoor hot springs are beautiful. The restaurant, the breakfast, and dinner is both authentic as well as delicious. Everything is an amazing experience. "

Would definitely stay again

"Our one night stay was incredible - the kaiseki dinner was wonderful and the staff warm and friendly. The highlight would be the private onsen on the rooftop where we sat watching the sunrise at 6.30am while enjoying the warmth of the onsen. One of the most memorable ways to start off the morning we have experienced!"
