"We stayed for 6 days at Canto del sol, and overall we were very happy! Location is great! The beach in front of the property was probably one of the nicer beach areas. Not large, but clean and beautiful view. The food options were good, always different very day. The best part was the staff, so friendly and hard working. Property and rooms were always clean. Its an old resort, so look is a bit outdated , but beds were very comfortable. If i had one complaint, it would how thin the walls were. I did hear everything. But i would still come back and stay anytime."

"This is an amazing resort, well layed out and very easy to navigate. The staff are wonderful. The food mediocre but the restaurants are very nice. The reservation system for restaurants really sucks"

"Property is beautiful and clean. Bathrooms are a bit slippery. Be careful. Only drawback was we Depended on taxis a lot to get downtown to malecon and other zones along Vallarta. Nice visit though! I would return !"

"The beaches here are amazing. Snorkling is great around the reef. Food was good, always had great selections at the buffet. Service on the beach is excellent. Lots of stairs, but we liked that, gardens are amazing around the whole complex, which is huge, you can use shuttles to get around if you don't want to walk. "

"Great, quiet all-inclusive north of all the PV action. The property is newly renovated and very nice. The food options are varied and delicious and the Elite Club package was totally worth it. Only draw back is the open air theatre that plays very loud music until 10:30pm. If you have interior room (even an ocean front suite), do not expect to go to bed early. Our favorite thing was the service! Countless kind and helpful employees! Some of the best service we’ve had in years. "
