Stayed here 4 times. Its everything we need in a place to stay. The staff is so wonderful. We live that some of the staff recognizes us each time. The poolside staff is always on top of drinks and food. They definitely go above and beyond! My only complaint is the noise at night. People who are oblivious to others and being loud in the hallways. Also the music in the lobby that goes until late was very loud. Earplugs are a must

Love the staff. Catherin was awesome and treated us like family, Wendy and front desk staff were phenomenal and went out of their way to make your experience top notch. Pool wait staff and bartenders ran their feet off and did an impeccable job at it. Location of hotel in the city was perfect, not far from the Malecon. Our stay was fabulous. If I had to have one complaint which is not so much about the hotel but I really wish people wouldn’t park their towels on lounge chairs and “self reserve” for the entire day. Hotel has policy of not allowing this and they try their best, but people please… if everyone just left the seats for others when they walk away to go to lunch for two hours, trust me there would be seats for everyone, there is such a turnover rate when people respect that. Thank you to the staff, we had a really great holiday and you had a big part in that.

All staff is so nice, and the food was great! Plenty of places within walking distance. Never had to wait for taxis if leaving the resort. Rooms were clean and resort as a whole, is beautiful. I would recommend staying here and I will definitely go back, if given the chance!

The hotel has completed alot of renovations and isn't as tired looking as in the past. They need to add more activities for the families. As they are catering to families they need to add kid activities

The entertainment was great the hotel and area was clean and safe. The only thing that was an issue was we only had the beach restaurant and the buffet as choices. The beach restaurant was great. Staff were great. Found the buffet to have a lot of hot food that was cold and some of the labels for the food was not correct. This was an issue as food allergies were present in my party. one other thing we stayed there for 14 days but because we booked through expedia we were not allowed to stay an extra three hours till we caught our plan. we asked and they indicated it would cost us 150 pesos each per hour. After two weeks it seemed a little trivial. Thanks

I booked this vacation for my elderly parents like I have done numerous times in the past. My parents have stayed at this property at least 4 times. Upon check in, front desk staff refused to upgrade my parents to an orange wristband. The orange wristband would have allowed them to have access to the Sky Bar. I was told there was no record of their previous stays due to booking on Expedia and not directly with the hotel. The resort staff is otherwise very friendly and professional

We had cockroaches in our room on the first floor. They did not have a room available to move us into that night (this was on night 3 of our 7 night stay) when asked about a refund for the nights of sleeping with the roaches was not given anything other than an apology. Was even told that they may not move use since we didn’t allow them to clean our just cleaned room at 11:30 at night. We had been out on the Malecón all day and didn’t return until 11:30. Was told that since we didn’t have proof of the roach infestation they would move us. Well luckily my wife took pictures of the roaches hanging out on the wall and with our toothbrushes in the bathroom. Showed them the pics and then they were no longer worried about proof since they now had it. I think they assumed the roaches scurried away, but these guys were on vacation chilling just like us. This is our tenth or so time at this resort, won’t return due to the cockroach issue and poor customer service. Will likely be disputing some of the charges. We paid way too much money to sleep in a cockroach infested room. The staff at all of the bar and restaurants were great.

Unfortunately this resort had one major flaw. The chairs on the beach were broken and dangerous. I was hit in the head twice while sitting in these chairs and I wasn’t the only one. The chairs are broken, so when you sit, the back of the chair flies forward and the medal bar hits the person’s head. Hard enough to leave a lump. It really hurt.

The property is small but excellent. No smelly stuff and very clean facilities. Pool bars are great. Food is edible but not anything to look forward to. Staff are friendly and kind and happy to help.

The hotel itself was pretty good! The only downside was booking an ocean view and the view from our balcony was completely blocked by palm trees. Could even see the pool let alone the ocean. We also booked a spa appointment and it was for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We got to the spa and they didn’t have the reservation. We spoke to the management team of the hotel and they couldn’t do anything. No offer of anything to make the situation right. Other than that the experience was pretty good!

We found the quality of meals disappointing. The breakfast was pretty good, but other meals were not very good. We ended up eating out rather than dining in the hotel. The hotel location and pool area is good, no complaints on the room. Did not appreciate the selling up of services as part of the check in process. Fine to offer it, but no hard sell when all you want is your room key. Also, the inflexibility on a late check out without purchasing an upgrade, was also disappointing. Next time will likely look elsewhere.
