Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room clean. Beds and bedding comfortable. Bathroom clean and looked new. Excellent walk—in shower Lovely rooftop bar and pool with a few loungers- although close to dining tables. Dining chairs all high stool-like which wouldn’t suit older people. Foyer pleasant although sofas stained which did not look good. Breakfast buffet varied. Although one morning had run out of bacon an hour before closing time! Close to seafront and transport.

Hotel were aesthetically decent but the rooms itself were very hot. We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days. Upon checking in the hotel lobby was pretty warm so we thought maybe the rooms itself would be cooler. The room itself wasn’t any better and it was very uncomfortable to sleep in that we had to call for a fan. The second day of our stay we thought maybe it’ll be better so we ventured out for the day came back in the evening and it was just as hot. Called the front desk for another fan and they said they’ll bring one up. After waiting for 15 min no fan was brought to the room and I called the front desk another 8 times but no one answered our call. We just ended up dealing with it and tried to make the best out of our vacation. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they get their AC issue fixed.

The hotel itself does not worth the money! It is NOT a Marriott hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had the top floor suite which was very noise at night due to the roof bar. We booked a week, but only stayed 1 night due to the noise. The staff was very helpful with the transit of hotel. I do not recommend this hotel.

The address of the hotel is misleading it is on a side street of Promenade des Anglais not in the promenade itself. Clearly not worth the price they are charging, no room service replaced by a fridge with drinks an and sandwiches. Breakfast is served in the entrance hall and the place looks very cheap and tired. Breakfast is not good quality is less than average. Room was very clean but feels more like a business hotel than a holiday hotel.

AC Marriott used to mean a certain expected level of service and property that was above average. This has obviously changed, and this property epitomizes the corporate failure of execution. I feel sorry for the staff who are trying to make things work despite lack of support and a property that is in disrepair. After 25 days traveling Europe this was the one Name brand we felt would be able to count on. It ended up being our worst stay hands down. I used to own Marriott stock and am very happy to have sold it last year. The location is good, the majority of the reception staff, Valet and food servers are trying to provide good service. Maintenance was terrible and when we reported items in our room that were not functioning properly we were treated to a maintenance man who tried to shame us for requesting these items be repaired. He then insisted the repairs were “impossible “. We were then treated to repair work both below and above our room for 4 nights. When we requested a room change the answer was no, we are full!. 5 nights of full capacity with no chance for relocation? Finally the overall level of disrepair of the facility falls on management, at what level I am not sure? I’m definitely going to not book any more rooms at any Marriott property or recommend them to anyone else.

Everything was wonderful except the shower never stayed at a good temperature. It kept going between really hot and really cold and made taking a nice shower impossible. Breakfast was really great. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was really nice. Location of the property was great and walking distance from all the sites and restaurants.

The hotel is standard. The beds weren’t super comfortable but the rooftop restaurant was pretty nice! The location is central and we had a great walk along the waterfront.
