"This property was beautiful and the onsens were amazing. We loved that the baths were private so that our children could use them as well. We had dinner at the property and it was delicious and quite a treat. Anyone planning to stay should know that this property is not very walkable. It is not only further away than other properties, it is on a hillside. We utilized taxis a great deal. This property was also not clean. There was mold growing on the walls and bugs (mosquitos?) smashed...

"This is a traditional ryoken located in a tucked away area. We took a taxi to get there because it was raining but were able to leave by bus. The private onsen was lovely, big and beautifully built. We slept really well in the comfortable tatami room and futon bed."

"We stayed here at the end of our Japan trip. The service was incredible, everyone was hopping up to help whenever we needed. Huang at the bell service specifically was very helpful to us. She helped us from start to finish. Food is expensive and there really isn’t another breakfast or dinner option around as most restaurants nearby close at 3-4pm. The food was good but not sure about value there. The room was spacious and there was a king bed which is hard to come by in Japan so we enjoyed that....

"The service was exceptional as were the dinners and breakfasts. The insensitive were are well equipped and relaxing after a day of exploring. The property is a short walk from the rope way. The only reason I didn’t give this property a five star is that is is old and in need of renovations ( peeling linoleum and water (?) stains in the toilet area. "
