"Spacious rooms, excellent service, clean. Rooms could use a microwave and some USB outlets. I really enjoyed the breakfasts! The proximity to shopping, the Chōfu train station, and a nice walk to one of the best onsens in the area are also excellent perks. "Compact clean room with small kitchenette. No frills, but very comfortable for a good price in Setagya, Tokyo Location at Yoga station makes travel throughout Tokyo, by train or bus, very easy. Have stayed at this property 7 or 8 times and have never had a problem "

"Spacious and clean. Moderate queen room was a good value. A good option if you want to stay in the neighborhood. Kichijoji has a very nice vibe compared to the more central neighborhoods in Tokyo. My only complaint was the 5000 yen fee to check out an hour later, at 12pm. Not an unreasonable amount but this is also the only time I’ve been charged this fee in my many trips to Japan. "

"The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"It was a great home base to retreat to after a day of exploring Tokyo. I wish there were more amenities for the price point but knew ahead of time that the area around it outweighed the minimalism of the hotel room. Very accommodating staff and a lovely tea/coffee place in the lobby. Worked out well for our large group. "

"This hotel was perfect for a short trip. Rooms are small but it was ok as we were barely in the room. Bonus! Magna magazines were available to read in the lobby all day, unlimited drinks and coffee, and self serve vanilla ice cream. This was such a treat especially coming back to the hotel. "Very good proximity to all the bustle of Shibuya but just a block out of the way makes it seem like a little hideaway from the fray. Highly recommend and very accommodating to English speaker. Large room and comfortable King size bed. Will definitely keep in mind for next visit to Tokyo."

Great Hotel in Kabukicho

"I booked the double room which was spotless. Room is tiny but the bathroom made up for it. I enjoyed the shower and tub. The window is small if you're claustrophobic. They do offer daily housekeeping. Plenty of taxis at the lobby and near the restaurants. Shinjuku Station is about 10 min walk. Overall, we had a great stay."
