"Staff were 10/10!! Very helpful and go above and beyond. The only thing we didn’t love was the cleanliness of everything, which was surprising given Japan’s usual high standards. We were staying for a month and had to ask for our room to be vacuumed (it looked like it hadn’t been done when we first checked in). Lots of dust and hair from previous guests around the room as well. Other than that, enjoyable stay. "

"Executive floor is very good and can get excellent services, however this hotel has almost 1000 rooms which is alway cloud and if the event is going on within this area, more people will there. "

"Very severe, dark and minimalist without the balance of aesthetic views or nature. Shoji screen room had choice of closed interior with very dark mood lighting and black surfaces or open shoji with view of workers at their desk in a neighboring glass tower. I Could not even see the sky on the 9 th floor. The room has no thin shade so workers in other building able to see in room if you have shoui open. The Onsen very comfortable but depressing and tomb like. I kept thinking I was in a Star...

"Excellent facilities, much larger rooms than average for Tokyo, friendly staff, exceptional dining options in the property and a 1 minute walk to the Nagatacho station on the Hanzomon/Yurakucho lines makes it a great base to explore Tokyo. 10 min walk from dining and entertainment options in Akasaka, but otherwise in a very quiet business district."

"This is easily the best hotel I have ever stayed by far. The staff made sure you feel special and appreciated. The time for check in and check out was 2pm and 12 pm respectively, which was generous. The executive lounge was very comfortable. Breakfast is also included for other restaurants. Satsuki was a great breakfast option. The Japanese garden was beautiful. Spa access was also included. I would definitely go back to House Zen when I go to Tokyo again."

"Even after studying all the reviews and YouTube videos, Ascott Marunouchi Hotel exceeded our expectations. Front desk staff spoke fluent English! My only suggestion before staying there would be to map walkable dining options (Particularly breakfast) Be realistic. Where are you going to eat? Might want to stop at a grocery store and make use of the full kitchen -even for a short stay. After full days of exhausting sightseeing, the walk from Tokyo Station felt really long. Awesome hotel. "Close proximity to train station. Friendly and helpful staff - staff helped with filling out luggage transport form (yamamoto). Rooms are small with no room to fully open luggage but this sounds typical of Tokyo hotels. First floor often smells of cigarettes (smoking room is on this floor). Overall had a good stay and wouldn’t mind staying here again. "

"This is a good business hotel frequented by Japanese clientele for many years. While many foreign tourists have come to it in recent months, it caters far more to locals, and does that very well. It is a good JR property. Clean. Well managed, very professional. The area is decidedly not touristy, and that also has appeal to many. Anyway, transit in Tokyo is second to none; everything of need is 20 minutes away at most. All in all, an excellent hotel for the price point."
