"Virgin Hotels Edinburgh is a unique property in a great location with good facilities. The rooms are modern and clean but extremely small and our so-called castle view room looked out of the staircase of the building opposite with a distant view of Edinburgh castle if you stood in the corner of the room and looked diagonally through the small glass door! "It is a great location for exploring Edinburgh. Within walking distance of shops pubs and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place conveniently just across from the train station. It was welcomed when I got late to Edinburgh. Their lounge offered a great view, had a good vibe all around and was extremely comfortable. One of the highlights of my trip."
