"The hotel's unique art deco design, was very welcoming and comfortable. Close to all ammenties, Times Square and all the theaters for our 3 Broadway shows. Staff was friendly and didn’t mind at all when asked to show my room card before gettimg on the elevator. "

"Loved the Glass elevators and The ability to overlook Times Square from the restaurant Windows. Didn’t love the sleeping accommodations. The bed sucked. Somehow ended up in a handicap room and the bed was low, too soft and extremely uncomfortable. Could be that we’re just very spoiled with a very good bed at home. The view from the room was amazing when the weather permitted. From the 36th floor, we could see the Hudson river and all the way across to New Jersey. If the bed had been better, we would’ve rated this the best hotel ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in upscale hotels around the world. "

"This was a really great property, single room was spacious. The only thing is that the TV's audio did not work. One last thing, if this is your first time in NY be ready for the loudness of the streets. You'll be hearing sirens nonstop until 12am. Recommend bringing or purchasing ear plugs. Otherwise, definitely recommend the Empire Hotel and would gladly stay again."
