The hotel is great because it is close to everything. The Rome is OK.. the room had a large stain on the carpet before I checked in, but for the five days no one comes to clean this stain. I had mentioned the stain in the room to the front desk, however nobody seems to care.. therefore at the time I checked out, the stain is still there. The only good thing about this hotel is its location..

The room was small and the furnishings are old and dirty. The decor pillows on the bed are filthy and old. The mattress and pillows felt hard as bricks. After experiencing the sights of the city a comfortable bed should be a given and for the price a guarantee. I also inquired about the rate because I booked a room at the military rate but was told since I booked through a third party they couldn’t give any information on that. A disappointment for sure.

My daughter and I came for one night to see game four of the World Series. We had been to New York City a few years back and wanted to stay somewhere a little better. This hotel is close to absolutely everything! Super clean! Very nice bathroom! Very comfortable bed! Great staff! We will definitely stay here each visit from here on out!

I recently stayed at this hotel for four nights, and I had an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and pleasant experience.

It's a wonderful location, with lovely staff, but know what you're getting into - it's all location. There aren't any services or amenities to this property and, of course, it's all quite small. While it is directly in Times Square, there are other hotels nearby that at least provide things like, for example, room service. It would be acceptable for this to be simply a "parking station" for people - except the rooms themselves are small and uncomfortable and the prices are comparable to much better hotels. Little things seemed unmaintained - the sink was missing a screw, the toilet never flushed properly - some water pressure issue meant that it nearly backed up each time. The rooms were not trying even a little to be sound proof and we could hear everything going on in the hall and outside. If you just stay maybe five minutes further away from Times Square proper you can probably be a bit more comfortable. However, I think this room would be amazing for anyone with a functional walking disability. The bed would be easy to get into and the bathrooms are, IIRC, ADA compliant.
