Highly recommended hotel. Would definitely return. Lobby area is a very comfortable lounge for am and also pm where music is played. Rooftop has spectacular view of Times Square. Room spacious for NY and very quiet/sound controlled. View of the river and skyline at 24th floor was worth it.

As a NY native coming back and staying as a tourist now I was impressed with the cleanliness and warmth of friendly staff. I wish checkout was at least until noon but otherwise I was pleased with my stay.

This is our 4th stay at the hotel and it never disappoints. The location at Times Square is perfect and the view from the roof top bar is exceptional. The staff are all so helpful and friendly anytime we had questions. We will be booking to return again next year and can’t wait!

Great stay just outside of Times Square with an amazing view! Staff was friendly and accommodating and we were able to walk most everywhere or easily catch the subway. Rooms are small and pretty standard but very typically for NYC. Would stay again!

We have been coming for years… several times a year. The last two stays we have noticed how unclean it has become. Lobby furniture needs replaced as it’s stained. Walls and areas by elevators and common areas dirty. Corridor carpets very nasty. Bar area clean and still amazing.

Nice,clean,modern hotel in a great location in Times Square. However, the elevators in the morning are very congested and the stairs are for emergency only and not supposed to be used.

Hotel was excellent for location, staff was very welcoming and friendly. TV wouldn't work daily, had to call for reset every day and send up maintenance. Bathroom was not very clean. Had mold all around the shower and pink mold inside shower.

The property was well located to the Theatre district and Times Square. All destinations were a couple of block walks. The DJ in the bar at night was too loud. No place for a quiet end of day drink and conversation.

We had a wonderful experience at M Social…until the very last morning! The hotel was beautiful and very close to everything but unfortunately we will not be staying again due to issues the last morning! We were woken up the last morning, just a few hours before checkout, by the phone ringing notifying us that we had set off an alarm in the room because we were “smoking” in the room and that we would be charged a non negotiable $500 charge! 1. We were asleep and woken up by the phone call so no one was even awake to be smoking. 2. We are absolutely a NON SMOKING household! No offense to the cigarette smokers, vapers, and whatever else y’all smoke but we are repulsed by it! In no way shape or form was anyone smoking in our room! We begged management to come up to our room and smell and check our things but were met with a “there’s nothing we can do, it comes from a 3rd party company!” We went down to the desk to talk this out as it is absolutely ridiculous and again we’re told it has nothing to do with the hotel! They couldn’t even give us a contact to the 3rd party company and were told we would just have to call the bank to dispute it! As soon as we hung up the phone from being notified of the charge, we called the bank and it had already been posted to our account! We are soooo disappointed and it honestly put a huge damper on our last day! Please beware! You might catch a huge undisputed charge for doing NOTHING WRONG!
