"Beautiful location right on the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice but only had a couch in the living area. There was no coffee table or end tables to set anything so we brought small table and chairs in from the balcony. There was a fair amount of street noise and on the weekends large empty lot next door becomes a local partying area. Vans with large speakers blasted music and the police came on one of the evenings. Too bad because this ws otherwise a very nice stay."

"Hyatt Place was a great hotel for my friends and me. We wanted a hotel that was near things (walking distance to the beach, food options close by, even a market!) and a comfortable place to sleep. The area is quiet and walkable. Getting an uber or taxi is also easy to get to the Gallery District or Los Cabos. Overall, a good hotel at a great price!"

"If you want to stay in Los Cabo but do not want to spend $700 a night to stay at an all inclusive this place is GREAT. Very clean, pool is chilly but made for a nice place to sit outside. 1500' foot walk to a wonderfully huge beach and many great restaurants within 1 block. Also the very charming downtown shopping/restaurants are about a 20 min safe walk. Staff was helpful in getting an uber for us."

"Very unique property. Loved the design. Staff fantastic. Food excellent. We spent well over $1,000 per night and room was not soundproof to adjacent room. Could hear them talking, phone ringing, coughing and even passing gas. I would not stay there again for this reason."

"I will start my review by saying that Gabriel our Expedia rep was amazing. Our vacation started off terribly because WestJet had delayed our flight and we weren’t able to get there until a day later than expected. Upon arrival we were greeted by extremely friendly staff and told we had been upgraded. We were brought to the Krystal Grand lobby where Gabriel then took over he made our experience great even after 2 long days of travel. I cannot say enough good things about this resort it was...

"Overall stay was pretty good. The walls are very thin so we could hear all the other doors slamming in the complex, and traffic was extremely loud. Breakfast is average for what you’d get out of a hotel. Pool is good, with chairs around for sun tanning. We did see quite a few of very small ant like bugs throughout the room, but not so much that we were concerned. Don’t know that we’d be eager to book again, but would recommend considering it if the price fits your budget. "

"It’s a place for a quick pit stop. I recommend this if you are just there to get some rest and travel the next day, not to stay longer cuz of the neighborhood and you are only in a room. Hosts are really polite and attentive. "

"This hotel is very nice. We enjoyed our room. The housekeepers were excellent. The location is right near the action, ie., the town square..it is active every night, has great food stands, and there is an art walk every Thursday night that is a must. The front desk folks were always helpful, from suggestions of what to see and do to helping me install a sim card...AND free electric bikes for guests to use...simply awesome."

"My wife and I spent 10 days here in early February as we had always wanted to be on the beach in winter! We saw humpback whales everyday from the beach including mothers with calves and competing males. One day one of them swam parallel to the beach so close that they nearly rode the breaking wave! The large swimming pool is not heated. The beach is red and black flagged all the time (of course this is true throughout most of Cabo. The food here is very good and the inside and pool side bars offer great service. The water pressure in the shower is wonderful. Many Canadians and some Americans (who live in the northern tier of states) visit this resort every year in the winter and have been doing so for many many years. They create a very warm and welcoming family feel to all. The only negative (and this is a big one) the beds are very hard bed springs which are supplemented by a very thin egg crate foam topper (which is of almost no value). This creates far less than ideal sleeping conditions. In talking with many other guests we found this to be true in most if not all rooms."
