We came here after a week downtown. purposefully booked somewhere that would be peaceful, and all inclusive, to wrap up our vacation feeling rested. This place has a great, adults only swim up bar, although you would only get a seat if you go down and put a towel on a chair at 7am. we didn't intend to sit out by the pool, so didn't care, but seating is very limited at all pools. We couldn't get a seat even once in our four days there. we came without kids, but did also notice that there isn't any activities for kids after lunch time. they have a small kids water park, and arranged one game in the big pool daily, but after that there is nothing for the kids to do. no games room, or planned activities, no games or shows. I would not take my kids here. They would definitely be bored!
but for the reason we went, we enjoyed it. quiet, restful, amazing ocean view from what seemed like every room. they had lots of different evening dining options. fast service. shorter ride to the airport.
because we booked through Expedia, we got our own Expedia concierge, and he was awesome! expedited our check in, made all of our reservations, knowledgeable about the resort. a great perk for booking through expedia.
