"A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "What an elegant, well presented and comfortable house in which to stay! Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. "Absolutely lovely place! Stayed here last minute due to change in plans. Hosts were so attentive! In my 30s, this isn’t a place I’d normally stay if I’m honest, but wouldn’t hesitate to come back! It’s spotless! Really comfy big bed and nicely firm pillows. Modern and clean bathroom. Breakfast cooked to order and plenty of other choices; cereals, fresh fruit, juices, different teas, alternative milks as well as normal, marmite, jam, Nutella, the list is endless! "My brother and i stayed here for the weekend. We were greeted warmly by the staff here, he was a really friendly and helpful person. The room was small but cosy. The location is second to none, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Llanberis. We had pizza here the 2nd evening and it was sublime. We also had a chance to meet the owner aswell, and she was lovely too. A really amazing place to stay."

2 night stay in the Gwydyr Hotel Betws-Y-Coed.

"An excellent 2 night stay in a single room in the Gwydyr Hotel, Betws-Y-Coed. My room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. We were a party of 7 plus a dog celebrating a 50th Birthday. We ate in the hotel both evenings and we all enjoyed our food. The breakfast menu included continental and cooked food which was well presented and delicious. There was plenty of space to relax in the comfortable lounges. All the staff were were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Pricewise I would say that it was good value for the level of comfort and service. All in all I would recommend the Gwydyr Hotel when staying in this beautiful part of Wales. "

Great location

"I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."
