"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. "We were surprised that we had to pay extra for heat in the property by purchasing heat credit. The property had a horrible Mildeu smell, which was present even with the windows open. Inside, it was very tired and very small. There is no way it sleeps five comfortably. The larger bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable with a worn-out foam mattress. "We stayed a week and the house was exactly as described - very clean and of a decent size. There is a full kitchen, even though some of the pots and pans are a bit old. I liked how we could adjust the heating to our comfort. The host was very kind on the two occasions we met her. Overall, good value."

"Clean and spacious for us (couple in late 20s). Good kitchen and cooking space with all utensils provided. The beds were comfy too. The sofas were leather and not very comfortable but we tried to be out and about as much as we could. No towels were provided Because of covid so we had to buy some as all of the information said they would be supplied and we didn’t bring any."

"Lovely spot; and as I stayed at the accommodation all day it was lovely to watch the animals and the changing skies over the sea. I did lots of drawing! The accommodation is very well equipped. The drive up the hill is a little hairy - glad we were in a robust vehicle! Barmouth is a small seaside town with lots of independent shops and cafes."

"Lovely property and perfect base to explore north Wales - amazing views of Snowdonia and fields around had hundreds of sheep in. Property was clean and had everything you need. Only negative (if we’re being very picky!) was the water pressure…took an age to run a bath and the electric shower above is not the strongest. The other bathroom with a mixer shower was fine. Overall, would definitely recommend and hopefully will return again in the future!"
