"Spent a winter wonderland of a week at Mont Cervin and can't recommend it highly enough. 15min walk from town but you never have to do the uphill yourself because the wonderful owners will shuttle you to and from the ski fields. At night they'll shuttle you up to the main strip for dinner and it's an easy walk back! I recommend adding on the brekky option, saves a lot of hassle and is delicious every morning. "We stayed during the shoulder season and it was quiet at the time so we were able to enjoy the public onsen all to ourselves. Private onsen in our own room was perfect for us as we have tattoes, but the staff said if your tattoo is for fashion purpose only, it'll be ok - just let them know in advance. Food was great, they have free trf services to/from Yudanaka station. We didn't get to go this time but it's not too far from Jigokudani snow monkey park. We loved the roof top bar they had! "Staff, food, game room, bedrooms, outdoor hot tub, and amenities are over the top amazing and comfortable. Everyone was so kind and went above and beyond making our 4 night stay an epic ski week experience of a lifetime. We made new friends and had everything, and more even, than we needed. If we ever make it back to the area we would definitely stay here again."
