"loved it so much we actually booked same brand of hotel in the next town we visited. the onsen was so lovely, and open overnight which allowed me to relax while my partner took some calls (late night in Japan but working in business hrs US time zone). free washing machines were so nice. other treats (free coffee, tea, probiotic drinks, ice cream pops) added bonus. walkable from train station and the attractions we wanted to visit "

"What we liked: Spacious room and comfortable bed. Very big window with a nice view of the mountain. Nice variety for the breakfast buffet in the lobby restaurant and very worth the price. The eggplant dish and the fish were some of our favourites. Well located and walkable, 5-minutes from the bus terminal, 7-minutes to the JR train station, 12-minutes to the Matsumoto Castle. Love the unique layout of an all-inclusive town. only wish more things were open, but I’m guessing that’s due to the low tourist season.
