Beach Resorts in Kantenah

"Rooms - very clean, well maintained, no issues with broken things or rusted out showers etc. Staff - polite and quiet, when you need help they are all willing to assist. Front desk assistance will ways try and sell you on "extra" stuff thag you do NOT need and you need to be firm when saying no youre not interested. Pool/Beach - clean, safe, lots of seating (get out early for a chair though because they go quickly). Beach is the reason we come, zero sargasum seaweed because of the net across the enterance on the man made inlet of water. A lot of fish swimming around which is awsome for kids and adults to see, crabs, turtles as well. Lots of trees for shade also. Food - Average, nothing fancy, buffets could be a bit better in food selelction but zero issues Overall a great resort, especially for families on a budget, would recommend to anyone!"

"We stayed at the Bahía Coba resort which is basic tier of the resorts. The beds were very stiff and the buffet food was decent. Although, there was little communication on how to book the private restaurants for the week that we stayed."

"Very disappointing beach experience. The beach was completely covered with massive piles of seaweed, making it unusable, and the smell was unbearable. Most people travel to the Caribbean for the beach, so this was a huge letdown. The hotel should have notified guests in advance about these conditions so travelers could plan accordingly."

"Staff was very friendly. They don’t serve alcohol until after 11 AM so if you want a mimosa with breakfast, that’s not going to happen. It was walking distance to the shopping area, which was great. Their Italian, Mexican and Steakhouse restaurants are all incredible. The entertainment was spectacular. The room we had faced the street, so it was very loud and the AC in the room was loud also. There wasn’t much of a beach area and it was right next to the public beach so no privacy. All in all it was a great experience and I would go back again. "

"We had an excellent 10-day stay at TRS Yucatán in Mexico. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional — the resort, the food, the atmosphere, and especially the staff. A special mention has to go to our butler, Moses. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. "The property overall was very good. The staff was friendly and I liked that you could go to other RIU hotels in the area and eat and drink and it was still all inclusive. The food was pretty good, most restaurants are buffet style. The rooms were a little dated but I liked daily room service. Nice place I would definitely go back again!"

"Lobby was beautiful and smelled so good! Property lush and full of palm trees and flowers and well maintained. Room was clean and ocean view was amazing. Beach on Palms side gorgeous and nice for snorkeling. Shows at night fun and well organized (loved fire show!) Beach BBQ and Arrifces delicious…highly recommended. Didn’t like the food at Mia Casa nor La Caretta….skip those. Staff was amazing!! All of them! Housekeeping and room service both great. Pools clean and fun and plenty of seating options!"
