El restaurante de especialidad Oyster me encantó y me arrepentí de no haber reservado otra noche ahí... la comida es muy buena, la vista inmejorable, la atención excelente; quedé encantada también con la cafetería, los postres y latte's que sirven buenísimo, la comida...

"Upon arrival you are greeted with smiles and helpful staff to gather luggage and help you to check you in. English speaking friendly staff in the front of the hotel. Unfortunately you are then inundated with staff required to offer you specials and deals they offer through the hotel, and do not take “no” for an answer easily. Throughout the rest of your stay anytime you walk through the front to the elevator to get to your room, you will be offered deals and promotions. This gets very tiresome...

"This was our second visit to Aura Del Mar; the first visit was when it was named Brisas Del Mar in 2010. This property has kept all the charm that we feel in love with back in 2010 and has made some incredible additions since. The pool deck over looking the ocean was peaceful and gave you a beautiful 360• view. The landscaping is gorgeous and tended to. The onsite spa has been updated and is lovely. Coffee machines in every room with fresh ground coffee provided. Turn down service at night....

"20 years ago, this property would have been spectacular. However, today is is very run down. Our unit had sewer smells each morning, the power plugs didn’t work, many light switches were broken, the safe didn’t work and our towels were frayed and worn. Worst part, we had pre-paid and couldn’t change or leave early. Will never go back!!!!!! "

"The property and staff are amazing. The buffet food was very good. I've been to other properties in Ixtapa and the food was by far superior compared to the others. The only downside and reason for a 4 star verses a 5 star is that the beach is small. We normally like to do a morning beach walk. This is not possible at this location. They do have a board walk along the ocean which is nice and you can walk the street side as there is a nice wide sidewalk. But beach walking is not possible. ...
