"The service was exceptional as were the dinners and breakfasts. The insensitive were are well equipped and relaxing after a day of exploring. The property is a short walk from the rope way. The only reason I didn’t give this property a five star is that is is old and in need of renovations ( peeling linoleum and water (?) stains in the toilet area. "

"What a great stay!! We travelled with our two teenage boys and I wasn’t sure how the hostel would be for us but our quadruple room was amazing. Kids loved the bunk beds. The traditional onsen was fabulous and I used every day. Super close to train/ cable car and the breakfast was very helpful each morning. "We were lucky to have a private outdoor bath assigned from this ryokan. The view from the bath overlooking valley of Hakone mountains was just amazing. We enjoyed taking a bath all time during our stay. The food was omakase style and very delicious. Staffs are very accommodating and pleasant.
