"I booked a few hours before I arrived and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The receptionist spoke good english which is always a bonus in China. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a 2 bedroom flat with a decent bathroom, kitchen and balcony. Excellent value for money. Location - Not too dar from the border - easy access to Hong Kong, only one stop from Coco Park (although staff will be happy to show you the metro station, it is not too far away), a lot of local restaurants...

"Staff spoke little English so I needed to use my translator. Asked for a non smoking room but could smell third hand smoke from the curtains. Also, on the desk was an ashtray. Why is an ashtray in a non smoking room? Besides the smoking issue room was good and staff was helpful."

"I told the boy I had reserved a room for 1 night, but he told me my room without window, but I were very sure it didn't show "no window room" on the website, and I refused to live in that room and I said I would not stay with that condition. but they took the charges from my credit card and said they would not refund. what are you think you are? "Overall the room was comfortable, it was the bathroom that was a bit run down, as in my sink was not draining well, and the faucet was rusted. Other than that though, the room itself is very well kept and very clean. The lobby was very humid and the windows were covered in dew/water, could benefit with a few dehumidifier. Oh and there are bird in cages at the lobby, if you’re allergic, get your friend who’s not to check in instead."
