"We had a fabulous time at the palace hotel. The room was lovely and clean and it had a tremendous view of Buxton. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel,both were great, service and quality of the food. We will be back in June as we have booked tickets for a show at Buxton Opera House. I was unaware that the swimming pool has a charge of £6 and an extra £2 for a towel. This is not advertised anywhere on reception that I could seem"

"We stayed here as a couple in Jan. beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Spa is excellent, lovely facilities and generally clean. Staff were all friendly. Couple of negatives in my opinion, the tiling in the thermal pool looks like it needs replacing. And only one robe for 3 days, it would be nice if these were replaced daily in the room as putting back on cold wet robe the next day isn’t pleasant.
