When we went down for breakfast we were told that the chef wasn’t in work that day so the only things available was panini or toasties out of the coffee room. The food looked like it had been there for ages and I paid for an actual breakfast. We weren’t told there was no chef until we went down for the meal. "Stayed overnight with a friend for a concert at Birmingham NEC, very reasonable price, clean and cosy. Friendly owner who lives in a separate house at the bottom of the property. Cooked breakfast available and a coffee machine that does a pretty good hot chocolate. Only slight downside is if you are a light sleeper it's close to a train track and the airport, but personally this didn't bother me."

"Fantastic stay. On check inn they upgraded our booking to a suite which was a great suprise. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The suite was clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The kitchenette consisted of kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery, sink and table and chairs, sofa, two armchairs and a Tv. The seperate bedroom was clean and comfortable with a great ensuite bathroom. The breakfast had a great choice of hot and cold buffet. Will definitely...

"Fabulous breakfast worth every penny. Only downside is too much furniture in the bed room. It was covering the electrical outlets so had to keep moving an enormous chair to get to them. Also don’t park under the trees by the entrance, we did and was welcomed back to a car covered in pigeon poo. Never seen anything like it. You have been warned, don’t do it 😂"
