"Georgian grand hotel. Hotel has done well to preserve the grand features. This is one for those who like character to a building. Staff were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in with loads of old style leather oxblood sofas and chairs throughout- so comfortable after dinner drinking. Food was lovely. Only requests would be for fresh juices at breakfast rather than concentrate/ squash and a scrambled egg option. Very nice stay - will return....

Only disappointment I went down to breakfast early as suggested by hotel to avoid the rush but breakfast items were had been there a while. If this happens to you ask for freshly cooked I was told after - a bit of a waste "

The facilities are excellent and we made lots of use in the gym and spa areas each day. Staff, food and cleanliness is 5 stars and really couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay.
