Only downside is lack of a lift, but the rooms are clean and updated with modern appliances whilst still maintaining the old-world charm of the original building. I'd stay here again! "We had a friendly welcome and all of the staff gave excellent service. The room was a good size with a lovely high ceiling. The breakfast was delicious and of a high quality with plenty of staff available to help. The main issue was that the room was above the front door so there was a lot of noise in the evening of people talking/shouting outside as there was a function on. There was also the noise of other guests outside the room in the middle of the night. There was a slight issue with dinner...

"Excellent location for the event we were attending at Eckington. We were made welcome by friendly staff, the room was spacious, clean and well equipped/well maintained. Great to have free parking too. Perfect for our overnight stay."
