"Service was excellent. Owner was super nice. This was a super convinient hotel to stay as the convinience store was located right across the street. The snow gear rental was one shop over. The nearest restuarant was 50 feet away. Would I return? 100% i would. "

"Singaporean family of 6, hard to fault anything. Most staff can speak basic English and attention is rendered to all appopriately, young and old. Onsen has different pool and some are not just warm enough for young kids to soak and enjoy. Food great Sleep mattress is Beauty Rest, futon might be alittle too thin for me but good for all kids. "

"Hotel Hanabun was a great ryokan experience! It is nestled in the mountains offering a peaceful getaway from touristy/crowded areas. It had the best onsen water, even the locals went there to bathe! The hosts and staff are all friendly and accommodating to your needs. Google translate was necessary to communicate, but everyone is very patient. The food was incredibly delicious, and they use locally sourced, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy ryokan. "

"I knew I wanted to snowboard at Lotte Arai Resort but I read that it was in a very small town and basically only the resort buildings so i picked this spot because they offered a free shuttle to the nearby mountains. (Not Lotte though its a 40 minute drive and I had to get a separate bus. It was very easy though and the owner was able to help me figure it all out. "We had a wonderful Christmas Vacation!!! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. They were extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in early after unexpected circumstances. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Great food, very delicious!!! Would definetely recommend this hostel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. "

"Chisun Grand Nagano was a great place to stay for our one night in Nagano. The rooms were relatively spacious for Japan hotels and very clean and comfortable. The room even has a massage chair!!! The staff was very helpful with checking in, storing luggage, and shipping luggage to our next stop. The only complaint I’d have about the hotel is the train station is pretty loud and can be heard in the hotel room - but sometimes a lil ambient noise is nice! "

"It was a clean and functional stopover hotel in a smallish town at a shinkansen transfer station. Does have restaurant and public separated baths for nice soak after a days travelling. Staff were nice and friendly. I would go there again if in the area."
