"I love that they are dog friendly (hotel and beach), and not a big huge building. The room was clean, with a balcony facing the pool and some of the ocean view. Walkable (a few steps) to the beach. "Only rated 4 stars so they didn’t review gate me. The place is an old motel with no frills. Staff obviously trying to keep it clean but our floors were not barefoot ready, socks only. Room was musty and I felt bad bringing my wife there for a little savings. But hey it was just one night. Bed was clean and soft so we did sleep well. Attached to a great pizza place well known in Jacksonville. As advertised it’s close to the ocean so that’s a perk for some. Windows need replacing, doors...
