"We just had a great stay at the Hilton. The hotel building itself is fine; it does need some TLC & refurbishment to really be 5 star but it was clean, comfortable, and functional. Our room was on the 5th floor, and we had a balcony with nice view of the ocean, but when you looked down there was a not so nice view of the AC units and fans on top of the 2nd floor restaurant building area. If you want to avoid that you want to stay on a much higher floor (8 or 9) or on the other side of the building that faces the parking lot. The beach area was awesome. Really nice & clean and not so crowded. The beach to the south of where the pier is is much more crowded, so we really appreciated the space we had on the beach by the Hilton. Note that you need to pay for cabanas and lounge chairs. Not cheap, but we did it anyways to enjoy some shade. Lots of good restaurants and shops on the street right outside the Hilton. Plus a Starbucks located right in the ground floor of the Hilton too. "

"Great experience. Everyone was super friendly, the room was average but the partial water view was excellent. The pool was heated and you could also walk out on the beach to the water, wonderful combo!"

"Customer service is A at this property. Staff are very polite and responsive. Great location, steps from the beautiful white sand beach. We had a huge room with balcony ocean-view. Clean room, very comfortable bed. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in walking distance. We felt safe walking late at night. Great pool on the 8th floor. Free laundry was a plus. They supply bottled drinking water. Valet parking was $43 with tax per night. Resort fee was $40 with tax per night. Next time we visit, we won’t need a rental car as everything was walkable. Pricey hotel but you get what you pay for. We enjoyed our stay. We will book this hotel again. Highly recommended. "

"I took into account the hotel is still rebuilding from the hurricane and so there is still some ongoing construction. For the price and location, this can’t be beat. Quick walk to the beach and shopping. Off street parking available. I visited this hotel for a quick trip with my 14-year-old twin daughters and felt safe. There could be better lighting in the stairwell as there was none and that made it a bit risky and unsafe. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would visit again. "

"Enjoyed the location. Able to walk to several nice restaurants, shops, ice cream shop. Noticed a lot of young families, retired couples and college age groups. Plenty of activities for all. We rented the beach cabanas on one of the days we stayed, available until 5pm, very nice. Ordered breakfast 2 of the mornings delivered to our room. Ate on our balcony, food was amazing, and cannot beat the view of the gulf. Definitely will visit again. Also, nice little extra, gift shop opened 24 hrs. Nice snack options, and picking up items that forgot to pack. Only negative, no Coke products on property, only Pepsi, but that’s just my preference."
