"The Barn had the nicest most friendly staff. They also have very quiet rooms and nice linens. I left my luggage there 3 days before check-in. They not only kept great care of my suitcase, it was waiting in my room when I checked in. Excellent value. "

"We stayed in a 2-bed room for 10 nights. You should expect the bathroom to be small, but it has everything we needed. The hotel has a common area kitchen, which we didn't use much, but also the room itself had a little fridge and a table. There is a laundromat literally across the street if you need to do laundry. The staff was SO nice the entire time!!! We really enjoyed our stay here while in Japan!"

"like how close the property to the JR/subway line. Also, you will hear the train coming. but once the door/veranda doors are closed, its quiet. The space is a good size for a room in tokyo. 4 of us fit in the space quite comfortably! Also, the hosts are nice and approachable! will be back again!"

"We loved this hotel. We stayed with our 4 yr old. Great size, and the toy rentals were very nice. The location was perfect for walking at the market and walking to the train station. You can hear the trains, but didn’t bother us at all. (My husband’s snoring is louder haha) We ended up staying longer because we loved this location so much."

"Recently stayed for 13 nights. Everything and everyone was excellent. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and most importantly, helpful. The cafe and restaurant was also a great part of my stay. The room I was in (one bed) was also great! No complaints from me! I look forward to staying here again! I’ll definitely be recommending Landabout Tokyo to my friends and family!"

"Loved the roof top onsen and the facilities. The coffee shop in the lobby was a great bonus for us. The location was excellent with restaurants and the public transport lines so close by. Nice to be opposite the park too."

"The room was a good size for our family of 4 and we liked that the toilet, shower and sink were in separate spaces. Had a small kitchenette which was helpful. Staff was friendly and location was good. The only complaint was the washer/dryer combo didn’t work. Spent a lot of time waiting for the clothes not to dry…would not recommend using their laundry. "

"The staff were super friendly and the hotel was pretty nice. The room size was good for Tokyo and it even had a small kitchenette and a dining table. It was not too far from Ueno station for metro and Shinkansen trains. There are a stack of dining and shopping options within a 15 min walk radius."

"We loved this hotel! Very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. We did not use all of the amenities, but they had a gym, laundry, communal microwave, and helpful staff. The bathrooms were stocked with a few personal care items too. It is also right across the street from a Family Mart, and a 5 minute walk from a train station. If we ever find ourselves in Tokyo again, we would definitely stay at this hotel again."
