"This hotel was wonderful. Indoor and outdoor onsens for men and women. Beautiful spaces for lounging, a spa, a restaurant available for breakfast and dinner, 7-11 right across the street, great mountain views. Rooms were very large with a full couch, two double beds, a desk, a full kitchen with microwave and stove, ensuite laundry with washer dryer combo. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke some English. Overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely book again"

"We loved our stay here. The host was lovely and welcoming and did her best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The homemade breakfast and the bath were the highlights of the stay. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Our one night stay was incredible - the kaiseki dinner was wonderful and the staff warm and friendly. The highlight would be the private onsen on the rooftop where we sat watching the sunrise at 6.30am while enjoying the warmth of the onsen. "Beautiful view from our room. Only down side was our room was on the warmer side. And we could not figure out the AC units remote. Even with google translate pictures, the settings werent working. We resorted to opening the balcony windows and turning the heat off. Other than that the room was clean and an enjoyable space. "

"This was a smaller ryokan so the onsen required appointments which is nice since you get the whole onsen for your own group or yourself. You might have to get weird hours though. The rooms were Japanese style and spacious but the bathroom was small. Also the bathroom didn't smell very good. There was also a kotatsu which was very cool to see. "
