""Quirky chic" Hotel is right on the water, great snorkeling and swimming, relaxing pool area, great restaurant. Easy to get a 5 min cab ride to town for activities and other places to eat. Outside of hotel could use a paint job. Rooms are fine, nothing amazing."

"We stayed at the oceanfront room, the ocean view was awesome! The bed was firm and comfortable. Room had a nice layout, it was nice, clean and spacious. The cleaning staff did a great job keeping it tidy and clean. Hot buffet breakfast is included and loved that they offered a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables every morning. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful! Room can use more drawers and towel bars/hooks. It would be nice to have lounge chairs in the oceanfront...

The property is ideal for travelers that spend the majority of their time out doing activities during the day and enjoying the local restaurants in the evening. "This property was renovated last February and was very clean uncomfortable. The rooms were small but had everything we needed! Francesca at the front desk was amazing. She made me feel important tended to my needs and was efficient kind and really made me feel that I was a cherished guest at this gem of a hotel. The hotel is in walking distance of absolutely everything and the choices of dining and activities are limitless. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, my experience...

"Great stay at Hotel Mary Carmen. Room was updated since last year, with new tile in bathroom, and nice shower head. Ac worked great and also ceiling fan when ac was not necessary. In room safe was nice, and plenty of water available in dispensers on each floor. The turtles are still there in the courtyard, making that area pleasant. Jose Angel at front desk is helpful as always. "

"Vista del Mar has become one of our favorite places to stay on the island. The ocean views, busy street with plenty of people to watch makes it a place one is never bored. Close to food and entertainment. Rooms are always clean, and front desk clerks are always super friendly and willing to assist with anything. Beds are harder but comfortable for us. We plan to stay there when we return next year for Carnival."

"I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Mexicana. The location is amazing. I don't know if we hit the low season, but it was extremely quiet except for one night on the room next door (a guest shouting on FaceTime at midnight)... There are innumerous dining options, shopping, it is a very walkable area and the view is great. If you want to know the real Cozumel though, obviously rent a scooter or Jeep and go explore. "It was a beautiful resort, a little large, but transportation with the use of shuttles was good. Only issue was some things were a bit expensive, $6.00 CAD for a can of pop for example is a bit much imo. "

"As a scuba diver this property is perfect. Has a dock for dive boats,you can do a shallow water dive right off the dock and dive shop on property. The entire staff of the hotel,restaurant and dive shop were fantastic. The property is a little run down but it did not bother me or my wife. Room were clean and comfortable."

TRS Yucatan Hotel - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was the get away we needed. The staff was awesome and although the property was huge there is shuttle service to get around if you don’t want to walk. The restaurants were delicious as well. The only issue was how long getting a shuttle took at times, but that was once more people arrived. I would suggest getting more shuttle service so guest don’t have to wait 20-30 minutes to get from one location to another. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this property. "

"Overall the property provided good value. The staff were pleasant and very helpful and management was engaging. The beach was very excellent. Also there were enough places to stay out of the sun both around the pools and on the beach. The only drawback that I could comment on would be the slow service when it came to drinks. There were few roving waiters to take your order and if you went to the pool bar to order your own drinks the wait was usually 4-8 people deep depending on the time. Not a major drawback for us but something to consider."

"Beautiful property! Great amenities. Biggest standout is definitely their restaurants - each of them offers a distinct cuisine and overall vibe, from a chill Mexican shack to a romantic fine dine place, this resort has it all! Would definitely recommend a staycation here."

"The pools were excellent and the staff was also great. Ate at all of the restaurants. Only disappointment was the steak restaurant. The steak was very mediocre. The Italian and Sushi restaurants were outstanding, and the Mexican, buffet, and pizza places were good. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The alcohol was ok, definitely plenty of it but had to try a few different drinks early to find things that tasted great and then stick with them. "

"Staying at Xcaret was simply one of the best vacations we have had! The entire service and staff was amazing, we had everything and anything when we needed it. Food was superb and delicious. Now being an all-inclusive aside from the all you can eat and drink it includes entrances to their amazing parks which are filled with so many thrills and adventures, from zip lines, snorkeling, rides to Isla Mujeres on a catamaran, driving jeeps in the jungles, swimming in rivers with crystal clear waters etc, etc. Words just don't do this place justice. "
