"My family and I were so happy we decided to book this location. It is literally 10ft away from a 7/11 store to get any food or drinks necessary. Having the 7/11 be open 24hrs was really great as we were getting food at odd times because of jet lag in the first few days. Not only is there a 7/11 so close, but there are neighboring grocery stores that are open as well. The biggest selling point in my opinion is that the JR station is a 3 minute walk from the complex. "Booked a two bedroom Japanese suite for 6 adults and it was pleasantly spacious enough to accommodate. My only feedback would be that the kitchen is quite small, however I believe that the area that would have been utilised for the kitchen has been allocated to the tatami room. There was storage for suitcases which was very practical for those staying in the tatami room. The main washroom was spacious with double vanity. Walking distance to main asakusa area was great. "We stayed here two nights for our honeymoon and it was the best experience I have ever had with a hotel. Cyashitsu Ryokan Asakusa goes above and beyond with making you feel right at home while also giving you the ability to experience traditional Japanese culture and hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were cozy, and the outdoor bath was incredible are a long day of travel and walking. We loved this place! You won't regret staying here."

"LOVED this stay! In a quieter part of Tokyo but still less than 10 minute walk to Asakusa station and only a five minute walk to Senso-ji shrine. Had a corner room with private outdoor bath that was incredible! Very spacious with view of Tokyo Skytree and the outdoor bath was beautiful. Included breakfast was great in private room with Western or Japanese options. The staff was very kind. Would absolutely stay here on another trip to Tokyo!"

"The property is right behind a shopping mall (Kameido Clock) and there's quite some options of boxed lunch shops around. Located not too far from JR Kameido Station. The room we stayed is not a big one but the bed frame is the taller type where you could stash your luggage underneath to give you some room space. nice"

Excellent hotel in terms of value for money

"The room was not as good on the photos on Hotels.com website. However, the staff was wonderful, from reception, restaurant to housekeeping. Location is very good, with 10 minutes walk to 2 Asakusa stations, for Ginza and Asakusa line. Lawson supermarket right in front of the hotel, quiet neighborhood, reception offers toiletries. Breakfast was very good, and it is from 7-9.30am. Asakusa is a tourist destination itself, with famous temple complex, many souvenir shops, plenty of restaurants, very good exchange office near the main temple. Value for money in this hotel is an absolute 10, at leas when compared to New York for example. The food in Tokyo in the ordinary restaurants is very good, with very good prices. The meal I had in one of them for 1000 yen held me for 6 hours walking through the town. Hospitality in Tokyo is the best I have seen in any modern city, and I have visited over 90 countries of the world. "
