"Wonderful location and the staff was very helpful. The apt was clean and very nice. Everything worked and the water pressure was spectacular. We also loved the air conditioning in the rooms since we were there during a heat wave. "

Grand Hotel Cavour
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent central location and easy to walk to sites and great nearby restaurants."
"We stayed in the newer part of the hotel and were very impressed. Everything was exceptionally clean, modern, spacious, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was both delicious and high quality. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel."
"- I had a great stay at this hostel.
- It is just a 15-minute walk from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station—I had a backpack and a carry-on suitcase, and the walk was very manageable.
- Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
- The 6-bed room was clean and spacious enough to comfortably fit three bunk beds. Remember to bring your own padlock, 30 mm.
- Shared bathroom was roomy, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic.
- Central air conditioning worked well, which made a big difference during the summer heat.
- Since I stayed during the summer, there were quite a few school groups and teenagers around, which made it a bit noisy at times—but it was totally understandable given the season and atmosphere.
- Breakfast was available for a fee and offered a variety of fresh and satisfying options each morning.
- Laundry facilities were very convenient, especially for a longer stay—just make sure to read the instructions carefully before using the machines.
- Storage facility was another big plus: it felt very secure, with each piece of luggage tagged with a numbered ticket. Staff are always present to ensure belongings are only picked up by the rightful owner. Just make sure not to lose your ticket."
