"The charm of this hotel is that it was a palace built in the 1600's. As such it has some cosmetic defects that we actually enjoyed. The place is living history. Staff is great and the breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. 24 hour espresso machine. A terrific location with everything in walking distance. Would stay again."

"The location and staff were wonderful. We stopped in Florence for only one night to ride scooters in the Tuscany hills. The hotel was conveniently located between the train station and the scooter station. The staff took excellent care of us while we were there."

"Grate Place and location"

"Overall our stay in Hu Firenze was great. The restaurant on location was really cool and tasted pretty great too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our little house was a big tent basically. Interesting but annoying when people would come check it out or tap on our house (happened a couple times). It was kinda funny but always awkward. We had a bed, closet, mini fridge, and bathroom. They had a shuttle to take you partially into town or you could walk to Firenze Rovezzano (train station). Apparently the buses were on strike? So no bus for us. But overall a great place to launch into Florence for the few days we were there. We enjoyed our stay! "
