"Called ahead like was told for ground transportation, never happened, got taken for 60.00 USD. Had to pay another 40.00 to get back to airport. Resort very time share driven, found pushy, areas for members only - segregation? Over all, food great staff great, clean every inch. Would go back, but now know a bit better not all vacationers are equal. "

"The newly renovated Tropicana was having a soft opening. Staff was a little green and not all the rooms were open. That said it is still a lovely place and a wonderful location to visit old town San Jose del Cabo. Staff was very anxious to make our stay overnight a wonderful experience and they did! Have stayed at the Tropicana off and on for 30 years!"
