"We’re picky, but we’re impressed by this place. It’s bustling and efficient and well-situated; rooms were nicely appointed and spacious. The location is fantastic. There’s a reason this is full of air crews, business groups and families. Taking off one point for erratic service — desk said they’d text when our room was ready, but didn’t; housekeeping made the beds but didn’t clear away half-finished teacups or take wet towels off the chair. But I’d still stay here again anytime. "

As the other reviews note, the property is in a lovely upscale area of London, walkable to shops and restaurants and attractions, including Harrod's and the Museum of Natural History. The staff were lovely and so helpful, and the free breakfast was an added bonus. I would certainly stay here again. "

"Amazingly cordial staff. Room was neat as a pin every day after it was tidied up. Absolutely quiet day and night. The neighborhood (East London) is interesting but it took me a while to grasp that it is the oldest settled part of the city, at least going back to the Romans. Of course, the Tower of London (really a castle, so it’s misleadingly named) is right at the doorstep, along with an Underground station with two train lines. Really a very nice place, not particularly trendy, just comfortable, great convenience and value, and nice people. I would definitely go back. I’m an actual guest, not a bot."
