"I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. "

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. "Room was gorgeous, in a lovely cottage next door to the pub. Breakfast was lovely. Slept well and the bathroom was nice. Tea tray was fab. Only issue we had was the room was freezing, in December. We had to go over to he pub to ask them to turn the heating on as there was no thermostat in the room. When we went out for dinner and drinks and got back, the room was freezing again. So again back to the pub to ask for heat, we were told there was a thermostat on the landing of the cottage this time...
